Wedding Fridays | Groomsmen Attire Inspiration
Even though finding bridesmaid dresses that don’t look like Rainbow Brite together has proven more difficult than I originally thought, I am pretty decided on what the groom and his men will be wearing. Since the wedding will be outdoors and pretty casual, I want all the guys to wear light gray suits with white dress shirts and solid silk ties. The colors of the ties will be similar to the colors of the bridesmaid dresses.
The suits in this picture are khaki but I think they create a similar inspiration for our groomsmen. I am pretty certain that I want Craig to wear a red tie – how cute! I plan to create fabric boutonnieres like the one below for all the groomsmen to save money on flower costs. Craig’s boutonniere will be the only one with a real flower in it, a red dahlia. :)
I really like this flat front gray suit from Men’s Wearhouse and do hope that the men will be able to rent it for the weekend. I have heard that Men’s Wearhouse rents more than just tuxedos so I will let you know if such rumors are true. Until then I am off to continue the search for cute bridesmaid dresses!
